Chris Evert - Norman And Evert Marry In The Caribbean

LATEST: Sports legends GREG NORMAN and CHRIS EVERT married in a lavish ceremony in the Caribbean on Saturday (28Jun08).

The pair, both 53, exchanged vows in the Bahamas in front of 140 guests, including singer-songwriter Corey Hart.

The tennis and golf stars spent a reported $1 million (GBP500,000) on the nuptials held at the island's Blue Shark Golf Course.

According to People.com, Evert's 12-year-old son Colton served as ring bearer in the ceremony while her elder sons Nicky, 14, and Alex, 16, walked her down the aisle.

Norman's own children, daughter Morgan, 23, and 21-year-old Gregory Jr. - who served as best man - were also present.

It's the second marriage for both stars - who became engaged in December of last year (07) while travelling in South Africa.

The first artists brought to Rap-a-Lot Records after the notorious Geto Boys, fifth Ward Boyz originally comprised Andre "007" Barnes and Eric "E-Rock" Taylor. The trinity originally recorded for Dewey Forker's Underground Records, merely affected through a get by between Forker and Rap-a-Lot foreman James Smith. The iI executives helped raise the debut 5th Ward Boyz album, 1991's Ghetto Dope, which was distributed through Priority. fifth Ward Boyz released Gangsta Funk the following yr, then added third member Richard "Lo-Life" Nash for 1995's Rated G. Usual Suspects followed in 1997, and iI age later the grouping returned with P.W.A. The Album: Keep It Poppin'. A fifth part record album, Greet the Real, was released in fall 2000.
